Utica ABSN Curriculum

Whether you are enrolled in the Utica ABSN program or the Advanced Standing BSN in Nursing program, you’ll experience the high-quality Utica ABSN curriculum, which follows a logical, effective sequence of online coursework, hands-on learning, and real-world clinical practice over four semesters.

The full-time program comprises 62 credit hours — including 225 hours of labs and 588 hours of clinical rotations, which begin during the first semester.

In addition to a robust curriculum, as a student in either the Utica University ABSN program or the Advanced Standing BS in Nursing program, you can count on the dedicated attention of your faculty and instructors. Our instructors are seasoned health care professionals who understand the industry and want to help you succeed. They’re available to answer any questions you may have and will challenge you to do your best during your time in the program.

Additionally, you’ll begin your nursing education with a group of other prospective nursing students. This group, your cohort, will be going through the same courses as you and be in labs and clinicals with you. This offers a great support system and the opportunity to create a study group to review everything you learn as you make your way through the ABSN curriculum.
