Why Choose Albany for Nursing School?

Our accelerated nursing programs in Albany have two different course delivery methods that require students to relocate to Albany.

In the Advanced Standing B.S. in Nursing path, students participate in in-person instruction, supported by an online platform, in which students interact with course content, assignments and other materials and activities to support their education. The ABSN path for second degree students involves online coursework instead of in-person instruction; however, this path is not 100% online.

Both of our accelerated nursing pathways include hands-on simulation labs and clinical rotations, which require students to reside in the Albany area to participate.

Fortunately, you’ll find that Albany is a vibrant city to live in, study nursing and kickstart your career. At Utica, you will be supported throughout the application process and your education, easing the stress of relocation.
