About Utica’s Accelerated Second Degree Nursing Program:

Utica’s accelerated nursing program in New York is designed for students who have a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field to become a nurse after 16 months of clinical nursing study. The program integrates online theory classes, simulation lab practice and clinical experiences throughout central New York. You’ll graduate with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and receive ample preparation to sit for the NCLEX. Passing the NCLEX is required to earn your RN license in the state you wish to practice.
