About Utica College

Established in 1946, Utica College is an accredited institution known for its excellent academic programs and outstanding faculty committed to student success.

As a private, nonprofit college, we ground our educational philosophy in:

  • Personalized student attention
  • Lifelong learning
  • Community and professional service
  • Ethical behavior and integrity
  • Freedom of expression
  • Open, honest communication
  • The well-being of others

For more than 25 years, Utica College has offered a diverse mix of nursing programs. In that time, we have become a leader in nursing education with our innovative programs designed to meet the growing needs of the community.

One example is our Accelerated B.S. in Nursing (ABSN) program off the main campus near Syracuse, New York, which launched in January 2013 to address the nationwide nursing shortage and increase access to a high-quality nursing education.
