The Accelerated Nursing Program and the Advanced Standing B.S. in Nursing Program Overview

Our ABSN program and our Advanced Standing B.S. in Nursing program sites in Central New York and Albany make it convenient to access a quality nursing education. With three program starts a year, you can use your previous non-nursing college experience to get moving on a nursing degree as soon as possible.

As a Utica nursing student, you can expect to spend a few days a week at one of our program locations. You and members of your cohort will complete the hands-on learning component of the program at this site.

Each of our ABSN program sites offers something unique, befitting the charm and culture of the region. Our Albany location is where we host both our ABSN students and our Advanced Standing B.S. in Nursing students. Here, students will benefit from our state-of-the-art nursing simulation labs and high-tech manikins. Outside of class, you and your cohort can enjoy the lingering culture of a city that started as a Dutch settlement but is now the East Coast’s burgeoning Tech Valley.

Utica’s Syracuse-based learning site holds all of the same high-quality learning tools as our Albany location, centered in the city’s beautiful Liverpool neighborhood. Syracuse as a city offers convenient access to all of the fingerling lakes, with Liverpool boarding Onondaga Lake. When they’re not in class or labs, Syracuse allows students to enjoy plenty of food and hiking opportunities, or they can catch up on some studies by the lake.
