Six-Step Utica ABSN Admissions Process
If you meet the admissions requirements for our second-degree accelerated nursing program and are ready to get started on your nursing education, follow these six key steps in order to apply for Utica College’s ABSN program.
1. Talk to an Admissions Representative
Speak with an admissions representative who will verify your enrollment eligibility, determine which of your existing college credits are transferable, and ensure that our ABSN program aligns with your goals.
2. Create an Academic Plan
Work with your admissions representative to develop a personalized academic plan that works toward your desired program start date. You can also visit our academic deadlines page for more information.
3. Complete Prerequisite Courses
Before applying to our ABSN program, you must complete 6 prerequisite courses within the specified requirements. These courses can be completed 100% online via our PREP program.
4. Apply to our ABSN Program
Go online to complete your application for the New York-based Utica ABSN program. Select the “transfer student” option under the “I’m applying as” field in the “academic interests” section. Please be aware there are a $40 application fee and a $150 non-refundable admissions deposit.
5. Submit Official Transcripts
Order your official transcripts from the college/university you previously attended and have them sent to us at the following address:
