Curriculum for the Utica ABSN Program in New York
Applying a blended learning approach, our accelerated nursing program comprises 62 credit hours of online and onsite curriculum that spans four, full-time semesters. It includes 225 hours of labs and 588 hours of clinical rotations, which begin during the first semester.
Utica ABSN effectively combines these three components:
- Online courses teach important nursing theory concepts.
- On-site labs provide hands-on learning in a mock medical setting.
- Clinical rotations provide patient care experiences in different healthcare facilities.
Together, these learning components provide the knowledge and skills that are required to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam and pursue a nursing career.
