Eligibility for UticaABSN in New York

Our second-degree Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in New York is for motivated individuals who want to quickly transition into the field of nursing. The eligibility requirements for UticaABSN are as follows:

  • Non-nursing bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale in the last 65 credit hours attempted
  • Grade of ‘C’ or better in General Prerequisites and grade of ‘B-‘ or better in Natural Science Prerequisites

Degrees Obtained Outside the United States

If you obtained your non-nursing bachelor’s degree from a college or university that is located outside of the United States, you may still qualify for our ABSN program. Please contact our admissions team at 866.892.6747 to find out.

Please be aware that while we can perform an initial review of your qualifications using your foreign transcript evaluation and other documentation, a course-by-course degree evaluation from the World Education Services is the only way for us to officially determine your eligibility.
